Getting Work by Bruce B. Gordon

October 24, 2017

It can be difficult to get one of those jobs, but with persistence you will! I think the pathway is first to do a college internship, which can lead to an assistant job. Networking and volunteering at events related to film (WGA, DGA, pitch events & seminars, etc. can also gain you the right contacts to get an assistant position. Some people have told me they got in via temp agencies (Friedman, Co Op, Randstat & Act1) that service studios, agencies & management companies.
